how much do you charge, if you cant do the back.
« on: February 23, 2012, 12:36:26 pm »
how much do you charge if for some reason you can't do the back.

i am asking as i had a little note in a payment i received today saying.
thought that was a bit much for fronts only.

i was in a rush and put £10 for the front, when its £12, before i have put £8.
every one else is £15 in this area. (i didn't price it)

but its just pee'd me off, i have been going on the same day for 18months, and half the time the gates locked.
but she normally gets home just as i finish the others and i have to go back to do the back.

You need to have a minimum charge and stick to it, £10 , £12 whatever

we used to work out what front worth, and change that. we are starting to charge more now tho, as text or ring day before awkward access, and if they forget it's not our fault. if they are not in immediate area we clean others (which to be fair, most are) we might even charge full wack. after all, its not worth setting up 2 ppl for a handful of windows if can't get around back.

You have charged her £8 for front only in the past and this time its £10 - the be fair to the custy I'd question that too.

Any customer I have where access is down to them unlocking something I have a front only price in the job sheet notes!

depends if you can get a couple of windows done at the side , to bump the price up... that way you can charge two thirds of a full clean.

We have a minimum charge of £10, so I always say 10 minimum and 15 all round if it's an average 2-3 bed semi.  To date I've not had anyone moan, they all opt for the 15 all round.

If I do bump into mr and mrs front only then it's £10 I guess  :)
