Hi looking for some feedback on them.
Beginning to look at replacing my extel hybrid 40 footer.
Would like to know how a 40ft would compare e.g. to a gardiner super max. in durability, closed length, weight etc. ?
information about them on water fed pole companys website very limited and would like to make a more informed descision on the pole .

Great pole had 35ft carbon for almost a year now no complaints at all . Very easy to take sections of when not needed.  I use mine as a 25 ft on a daily basis . Mike

i bought a 40ft for £550, but it was actually 38ft. good pole though, ive made it into about a 20ft pole for daily 3 story stuff. too heavy and long for normal 2 storys though.

ive got a 30ft carbon elite.

better than extel/streamline ? yes
better than gardners slx ? not even near

spend your hard earned on an slx , it will be the best investment you make polewise

my highest work I undertake rquires a 40 ft pole (dont see that changing ) but only a few occasions each month, so yes as others have said I would break it down and have it as every day pole with add ons when required.
I dont doubt that a super max gardiners pole would be excellent, but I am very price conscious
I currently have a clx 27 which I use for 90 % of my work, and I am using a friends super max 50 on friday to trial it.

Carl@clear-view, glad you rate it better than extel/streamline, I was hoping so, but why is it no way near as good as the gardiners equivalent ?
could you please explain how they differ ?

my highest work I undertake rquires a 40 ft pole (dont see that changing ) but only a few occasions each month, so yes as others have said I would break it down and have it as every day pole with add ons when required.
I dont doubt that a super max gardiners pole would be excellent, but I am very price conscious

gardner slx features positive stops ,so no waiting till u see blue b4 stopping extending.
very sturdy and hardly any sag.
i can reach this pole over to nearly 2 oclock fully extended and clean with it at that angle reasonably comfortable.
carbon gooseneck places brush at perfect angle to glass ( extra by the way)
i chose slx as i believe not all sections on supermax are fully lockable anywhere on certain sections.
in no uncertain terms m8 i love my slx and would not swap it for anything ive seen or tried yet.

actually on further investigation there is no price difference between a 40 ft supermax and a 40ft elite +, (this only becomes apparant with the longer poles and the elites are a bit cheaper )
looking forward to trialing a supermax 50 tomorrow so hopefully I'll be convinced.
