I am really interested to know whether anyone is getting any enquiries from their mini sites or NWC. Personally I think it is a great idea, not cheap at all and not something I have ever thought amount.
They do say 'you get what you paid for'...

I really hope it works but just really interested to see if it is bringing in leads and enquiries?

If it is working there must be loads of money to be made out of other trades or services, think of all the other forums!

Hi,

I've got two mini-sites for myself in Cardiff and have received two enquiries over the last month from them.

Quite interesting...or you may find this a bit geeky...a lot of the mini-sites are now overtaking some of our members existing sites in the search engine results. My residential mini-site for Cardiff is now No.2 above my windowcleanercardiff.co.uk site which I have had for about a year and has had quite a bit of SEO done to it.

Our service is not aimed at being the sole source of window cleaning enquiries for any business, it is just another form of advertising for anyone who is interested.

No, nothing whats so ever has come through, all enquires are coming from my own web site.
I will say my mini site is the middle of page 1 on google search and bottom of page 1 on yahoo search.

I'm pretty sure Willis runs/owns some mahoosive cleaning company; probably makes most of us look very micky mouse; he'd be a guy to listen to, rather than put down.

tosh iam not putting him down iam just saying that somtimes on here people forget what its all about. on this site it all how big we are. i rely on good customer service, i always have time for a quick chat with the old customers, i ring or text ahead when needed, i dont bin them if there on holiday and they "dont want them doing this month". iam just the guy that cleans the windows iam not that important in there day to day lives. but i make sure i do a very good job at a good price, doing this alone brings in work. we all know that if we employ people getting them to do the work as well as you do is nigh on impossible. ive had several guys work for me but the thing that is differant between us is that they dont care about it as much as i do. and this is where the big companies fall down. they lack the personal touch. is just all about profit. maybe iam wrong in my thinking. but if its not broken iam not going to try to fix it

not wanting to be rude mate but just looked back on your posts and i have seen that you bought 14 minisites off NWC domestic and

commercial , i darent ask how much that has and will cost you. If you are keen on marketing your company profile properly why are

you not using that money in marketing your own website and getting an SEO person yourself to get you up the organic listings in these

areas cos you will do a hell of a lot better doing this for the same or probably less money and customers seeing your website rather than an

insert on a national directory.
