Bloke in my town has bought some work priced @ £4k a month - on top of what he already had (he told me about £700 a month  or so ) and he's only been window cleaning about 4 months - on his own as well !! - the point is it can be done but it must it be well priced - with alot of commercial work thrown in
He must be a quick learner if he can clean £4700 of work on his own with 4 months experience

No where near 6k a month..

I wouldn't believe half of what u read on here.
Most would earn around 3k a month realistically ..
They may say they turn over 8k upwards, it's profit which counts.

All fortune cookie stories I'm afraid

agreed with london turnover is not where it is your not in business to turnover money, your in business to make money. Yes to get 3k a month average profit for 12 months of the year you would need to hit turnover of at least 4k a month once costs are considered and holiday  etc.

Even 3k seems unrealistic unless its very well paid commercial?
Realistic figures (IMO) are 10 £8 houses a day, 20 days a month = £1600 but thats not profit and not taking into consideration days when raining.

Or am I missing something?!

I'm considered slow and careful and I did 16 houses from 9-3 today,

thats why these threads are a waste of time. some guys work in areas where the prices are half what they are in some others.
if some guy worked in the channel islands then for all we know 6k might be the norm. look at this guy who does 10 x 8 quid houses. willy waving posts are like people who talk about sex. they never get any.
if some of the guys on here were earning what they claim then they wouldnt be asking advice about how to get their customers to pay their 7 quid arrears or how to write an invoice etc.

one or two of the alan sugars on here talking about world domintion were asking last year if you could set your sandwiches off against tax.

Well Ive only just started 2 weeks ago, I only have 3 customers. I was just guessing as it has taken an hour for each house (1st clean) so I can imagine I could do 10 a day when a bit quicker.

First cleans take at least twice as long, if not more
