i sliped the other day must have leaned on my slx and one of the sections has a split at the bottom about 4 inches i have put a new positive stop above the split,i was wondering if i could do somthing to reinforce the split,or will it keep traveling up the section ,.thank for any help

I think your better off sawing off the cracked part so it doesnt spread then gently sand down the end. I have had to do the same thing on a couple of sections of SL2

yes or coping saw with a fine toothed blade. it feels wrong but be brave
