Hi Guys

Great forum pICKED UP SOME GOOD TIPS

Any how iv been working trad for 3yrs now and now looking to go WFP.
At the mo im just checking things out and cost and so on, i was just checking the website foe my water board to see if im soft or hard water, could someone please take a look at this http://www.south-staffs-water.co.uk/downloads/Walsall_WA.pdf  and let me know what water i have, as its all gargon to me

Just buy a tds meter and test it yourself

It will be hard in walsall. Severn trent is much softer.

as said buy a tds meter and check, you will need one anyway.

Yep youll need an RO and meter anyway but youll only need a merlin ro....fits in your house if needs and attaches to outside/kitchen tap you dont need flashy units in garages etc. But youll still need a resin cylinder to polish of after your ro. I used to have a tucker 700ltr system back in 2003 but now have 400 ltr system as it does the same amount of windows etc due to small diameter hose and flow controllers etc
