Cleaning Carpet Tiles
« on: December 19, 2005, 11:04:31 am »
I have a large area of carpet tiles to clean, thin, flat brightly coloured with a rubber backing.  They are very well stuck down.  Any dangers in using HWE to clean them.  I will use a Ninja which seems to get the carpet  dry pretty quickly. I've just never cleaned tiles before.  I don't have any dry systems, just the Ninja.

Any advice appreciated.
Trying really hard to clean all of East London!

should be safe as houses using HWE, but be carfull that they are rubber backed and not bittumen if they are bittumen and a commercial job be carfull of solvents mainly chewing gum spotters as this will disolve the bittumen and leave black spots.

I always use my T/M on tiles and have few problems, always carry a can of spray adhesive just incase
