Slow start to year .... so far
« on: January 05, 2012, 11:34:21 am »
Piggin hell another day off  :o

Was out for half day yesterday but got too windy in afternoon in the hills of wales so thought try again tomorrow.

Up bright and early this morning ready for a days hard graft and still waiting for wind to die down.

Happy to work in rain but not in wind and rain.

Had to redo a big house as wind made it look like a bag of concrete powder had been chucked over windows after I had cleaned em.

Will be spending day on ebay looking for parts for my 1988 Xr3i thats finally back from paintshop after 2 years !!! told mate who owns paintshop just to fit it in around other jobs so as to keep bill down.

as requested some pics ... work in progress ... used to sell cars up until last year and first started in 1988 and these were great cars then
has had 2 new front wings, a slam panel but usual rot spots like battery tray and door and tailgate bottoms all solid as new so wont take much to get back together ... in time for summer  :D

I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.
