Call for new moderators
« on: January 04, 2012, 06:08:43 pm »
Happy New Year everyone!

We've been taking on board your comments and suggestions about ways we can improve the forum and I'm sure you'll start noticing some of the changes over the next couple of months.

To help manage some of these changes, we're looking for more people that may be able to help moderating some of the new and existing sections.  I won't kid you, it can be a thankless task at times but we do have some really exciting plans for developing the site and widening the member base in the future.

So, who do you think would make a good moderator or is it something you'd like to put yourself forward for? If you have any questions just ask and if you'd prefer to email me directly please feel free to do so.

Many thanks

Mike  :)

I'd love to be a moderator on here, I spend most of my time on here anyway doesn't mean I won't disagree with people but it has to be done in the correct manner and I'll have to stop my stupid and rude jokes but I would be fare (would still buy from Nick though I love my Jag!)

I'd do holiday cover on window cleaning issues or the "Tosh talks buddhism while laddermonkee goosesteps" section.  ;D

Thanks for the suggestions and emails, sorry I've not responded to everyone directly yet but I will and please do keep the suggestions coming.

Tosh actually was a moderator for some time and was very good. However, it was only ever a matter of time before he became gamekeeper turned poacher so to speak  ;)

Regards

Mike

I think that anyone who wants to be a moderator, should not be allowed to be one, as the very fact that they wish to be one, makes them distinctly unsuitable, due to megolomaniac tendancies.

Mike, if you'll have me back, I'll volunteer for a moderator position.  I promise to be behaved (within reason) and I don't drink anymore, which helps!

This forum definitely needs some more mods.

Hi PoleKing,

Many thanks for the offer, if you could send a quick email to me on mitch@cleanitup.co.uk as to why you would like to be a mod that would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mitch.
