Water fed pole set up in my van
« on: December 22, 2011, 09:10:52 pm »
Hia chaps!  can anyone help me please? im setting up my new water fed pole system in my van and just need to ask a question about the set up.  Does my 100psi pump push my water threw my DI resin chamber and out to my micro bore hose? or does it draw from the DI resin chamber and out to my micro bore hose?  need to get it the right way round!
Ps:   the water in my baffled tank has been threw an ro unit with a TDS meter reading of 5. Need the resin for it to be 00.     cheers   chaps!

yes, pumps are great at pumping, but not at sucking.  So want as much flow into pump, then it can push it through the di and mini/micro bore no problem.  Also helps keeping pump low down, though have seen some higher and it seems to work a treat, for me it struggled when pump was too high.

To be honest I would DI after the RO and have pure in the tank.
