like i said it fit great in my van. so for me it beats the slx hands down.  

For reference the X-tel Hybrid 27ft is 10cm longer when closed than an SL-X30ft when closed so the SL-X should fit into the van more easily    - full details below:

The SL-X30 is naturally more expensive by £69 (+brush cost) as it is a full carbon pole - so it is not really fair to the Hybrid to compare it on specification. A fairer performance comparison to the X-Tel Hybrid would be the CL-X27 which is even shorter when closed at 1.55m

feels great to use & just the right weight for me.
so no need to try & bring yet another pole into it as i still aint interested & like what i like

which is £150 + vat  and as i have used the clx and the streamline i would defo reccomend the clx.

And im not one of the embarrassing sicophants may i add!
Much like my musical tastes i like some songs by a band but other songs by the same band i dont like.
I judge each product for what it is no matter who its made by.

I would advise using slx 30

You need to stand back when doing the top floor town house windows, otherwise you will get neck problems, plus as other guy said, you can work pole over cars on driveways etc, or in my case I can do top windows and still be standing outside of the front metal gates, means if I'm doing two neighbours, no faffing about, can walk pole  without having to leave one garden and get in to another.

its true didnt think about cars and things in front was hoping to get away with the lighter 22 foot clx maybe best to get the 27 footer or even a 30 foot slx and finally be done with my old extel battle axe had it for ages.

for the record the only brand ill be getting is gardiners ive been very pleased with my 18 clx it must be 18 months old now still going strong
