I had to go to Pirtek today to have 2 hoses the the 9100.
£115-00, but back on the road again in 1 1/2 hours.

Yesterday was the "day" for me.

In court in Basingstoke (taking ex LandLord to court for my deposit) good part we won in 20 mins

set off for home in the Nissan Largo we bought the day before. Big blow out on the M3.
Pulled over looked in back and found the space where the jack should be, looked where the spare wheel should be ..........................nowt.

limped off the M3 just on the wheel tyre was all over the motorway at this stage.....

Got to formula 1 tyre place.... no guv don't do wheels.

they phoned everywhere around Basingstoke for a wheel and could not get one.

Got the train back to middle of nowhere near Salisbury.

Got off train no phones ...... no signal on ours .................... no lights.............

2 1/2 miles to home in pitch black...........

luckily got a lift


what should have been 2 1/2 hours in a day was 9 hours altogether....

got home got on ebay to the muppet I bought the Largo off, to be told..............










spare is in the bonnet mate...........

Our skipper was having a meal on the Royal Yacht after the Hong Kong Hand Over and I was at the wheel on HMS Plover. My officer of the watch was so interested on trying to see if he could see Prince Charles, that he wasn't giving any orders and keeping an eye on things. So I remained on a steady course until I thought we'd should ideally turning hard to port.. Instead I asked "Sir, would you like us to power up to ramming speed?" with that he put his binoculars down and realised we were too close for comfort... "Hard to port, hard to port!"

I wish we'd rammed the Yacht, cos he'd have been well in the .... and he was a proper........
