Do you have a way of regulating your pump pressure ie. Digital Varistream etc etc.?

Have you tried adjusting the "water" flow numpty on the fogwash with the microbore connected & water flowing? Usually turning the numpty down to minimum helps if you're using a low flow rate.

The fogwash needs 0.8 litres or more per minute to run, so make sure your flow rate is high enough.

That's the flow rate I believe, you can also change the pressure by holding + and - for a few seconds, then press it again.

For a 100m Microbore setup I use the following settings on the Varistream : Flow at 3, pressure at 6 or 7. Fogwash water regulator on minimum, or just above. That should work perfectly.

So chaps-the plot thickens!!

After further testing with my heater today, it'll run all the time on the summer setting, but on the winter setting, it cuts out after 2/3 minutes

Thought please?

I was having trouble till i read this thread. Now it working fine. Make sure you have the water numpty turned right down to min . Gas on min, on winter not summer, pressure on vari stream on 6... flow rate on 3 ... Thats what i did and it works fine.

Thanks Jay

Ive got a Pure Freedom setup, so my flow is on 30, and both dials turned to min on the Fogwash.

That sounds like the problem . Is it a flow master that you use?  I would adjust the pressure to just over half way.

Hold the - and + buttons together for 3 seconds. Then the pressure setting will be displayed should be C. Press and hold the - and + buttons again then it should flash. adjust this with the + button to D. Press the power on\off button to save. Switch back on try.

Probly because its a different setting. Its taken me awhile to get it working as i want it to. I had the pressure up to high on my vari stream as i use a trigger and always liked a good high flow and pressure at the brush. Since i had my fog wash my out let hose from the heater kept expanding and bursting because the water was hot and pressure was too high. I have now had to adjust the way i work so i can run the heater correctly.

Hope it works ok .

Darren

Pickies attached. Hope these help.

Sorted my problem. The gas for me has to be down low, nearly min, and then its fine-think it struggles to get rid of the fumes as my flue has bends in it

Pure glass, the problem is that the heater cuts out because the exhaust gasses buildup, its sensitive. That's why it,s fine on summer settings and not on winter, as more gas is burned on the winter setting. It needs to be reset by pressing the button on the top right. You can bypass this, but don,t want to post how. What exhaust are you running, mushroom vent, on the door or nothing at all?

Sorry, I didn't see your earlier reply. Unless it's pretty much straight out the roof it can play up. Have a look at the top of the heater where the button is, it can easily be bypassed. Do it at your own risk, don't come after the messenger.  :D
