Hi

Not last year but the year before the jets on our 40ft pole froze up while we were using it, We have all so had water run down pole and freeze solid and we could not retract the pole we had to put some warm water on it to thaw it out.

A good tip for this time of year put plenty of silicon lube spray on poles the water runs off and the pole close easy.
