I hope that's not true I'm meant to be cleaning them this morning!

But I know the contract must change hands at some point.
And they've had me doing it for the last 6 and a half years.

How did you hear about this?

Interesting.
I've just received this months workbills so I'm still doing for now.

Can I ask which main contractor you are meeting?

I know when I had a Primark contract that Primark gave some of the stores to another main contractor to keep the con I worked for on their toes...

We shall see.
Something to bear in mind is that you will have to get a sign off sheet signed for every clean, bit of a pain.

hi all i just met with someone from the company i'm subbing for(i would rather not give names fot now) and on the workbill it's still INITIAL but i'm subbing for someone else.he said because it has to be done 3times a week they have to sub it.they have other work in the area and told me they'll email me a list with other work.sounds promising lets see how it goes.they asked to wear something plain.
the work sheets need to be signed everytime but because we do internal doors all the time it's not a problem as there is always someone at reception

hi i'm in colchester .forgot to mention .yes that's the most important ,to get paid.i told him we'll do it for a few months and see how it goes as there are quite a few windows and glass to be cleaned for the money we get.it the internal glass , escalators and balustrades i'm concerned about not the windows and doors, they are straight forward.
how do you plan to do the balustrades and escalators?i was thinking sprayer with pure water and microfibre cloth

usually just blade them off .but they are usually just dusty .so scrimm off or micro.
he must havew seen me and then went on to see u.
i concur not the best money but ok.
ive done this sort of thing in london yrs ago.my advise is not to rely on it as we are obviously taking it from someone asnd the same will happen to us sooner or later .

No its not, they lost it last week. I expect the person you saw with a spray bottle was a cleaner. I spoke to the guy on Initial last friday and that was his last clean.

I agree with an earlier poster don't rely on it. If Initial find out their subbie is subbing to you he'll probably lose the contract.

As for escalators I use a slightly damp scrim. Comes up fine.
They get smothered in school holidays with sticky fingers.
Another thing is debs often open early like 8 for special events and sales.
Especially during Xmas season.
