stapro i believe are the manufacturer for a lot of the own brands sold by chemical suppliers.

they are a quality company.... but if its half the price of powerburst then it won't cost a lot to buy 3kg of it

Prochem do a product named that...

http://www.prochem.com/ViewCategories.aspx?Pid=824

If there's one thing you should never scrimp and save on in our profession, it's the chemicals. Buy the best you can and never worry about the cost.

The rest will fall into place ;)

i have tried it and would say i wasnt that impressed, in general my rule  is if aproduct works stick with it. Everybody claims their product is better and more ecomomical but time has told me this is very rarely true, something that is cheap is cheap for a reason.

I tend to stick to power burst and champion as top line pre sprays and craftex ph7 pre spray on  wool carpets along with premium clean or top grade powder for bad jobs and fibre safe gold as my general tank cleaner.

Served me well why change.

So does Tesco value coffee but it dont taste great!

If it`s cheap and works well, all fine but in general it`s cheap for a reason.

If it`s cheap and worked well we`d all be using it and suppliers would stock this insead of prochem, chemspec etc.

Double hit is an enzyme product, i think powerburst is enzyme free,
so 2 different products

John / Homeclean

Stapro became known to me about 30 years ago before Prochem or many others and they have a pretty comprehensive range. Not only that thay will make a product to your requirements.

We used to use Stapro Upholstery Cleaner no.2 for years on viscose velours.

It was awesome stuff (early 90s) not sure if its still available or not. It was a water & solvent based product that you had to shake to mix prior to use as it separated in the bottle.
