Toyota Hi Ace

Good afternoon folks.
Do any of you own or know anything about these vans. Getting a new van in December and after being told all about the Vivaros faults, along with the Renaults, etc I was looking at these.
They do look quite nice, not too much smaller than my transit so, opinions please.
Reliability, fuel economy, driving experience, good and bad, give it to me folks.
Many thanks

I made an initial enquiry about one of these recently. I am in no hurry and may well leave it until September next year (last month of my accounting year so can get the first part of the capital allowance backdated 11 months). The guy informed me that they are going to stop making them next Summer so there may be some decent deals going after that.

I have a 650 flat tank in mine, payload of around 1100kgs, I had my old hi-ace for 8 yrs and nothing ever went apart from the diff, which was replaced with a used one and sent to the Congo
