looks good but IMO its just more things to go wrong, higher insurance and general faffing about.i was thinking of a hot system a few months ago but i dont think ill bother.its probably only worth using if you do lots of one off cleans and conny roofs.maybe the odd day if we get really cold weather.

oil filled rad, aquarium heaters and a duvet is my winter preperation.oh and screenwash/trad pole if its below freezing in the day and hoses are freezing up.

more expense on top of normal wfp costs as well with diesel/gas used has put me off going hot!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Don't know where you clean Dazmond me old mucker but last year we had almost 3 months of -10 days, I have been running hot for 3 years now and have hardly missed a day.

ive been cold wfp since 2007,i missed seven days
during last winter and that was due to vehicle breakdown

couldnt see hot helping me with that one.

the only time i have problems during really
cold weather is when cutomers arent in and the water
freezes to the window but thats a rarity.

i insulate my pole hose and keep my packs off the
ground and salt, grit if it freezes on the ground.

i clean a lot of old properties with old glass and there is
no way i would trust hot water on these windows in cold
weather

Hi, I've installed that myself. Well actually I had the tank & frame fitted because the fuel tank had to come out underneath, didn't fancy balaning the tank on my chest etc. Every single thing other then that I've put in myself.

To be fair if I'd do it again I'd get a DIY fit crash tested tank and securing system (these should come to market sooner then later) and buy and order the parts myself and fit them. It's not hard. Best to make a drawing first of all components, tubing, wiring etc necessary and then go from that. If you don't want the hassle, Purefreedom systems probably come in closest in cost when it comes to cold systems.

If you were purely speaking about the hot add on, that's very very simple to do.

Rollers are winch guide rollers, ebay will sort you out. The cabinet mount roller guide can be purchased from Gardiners.

I've heard some rumours, not sure yet where it's going to be sold.

can guarentee you will go hot dazmond heard it all before from you, wasnt so long ago you were trad only and couldnt see how wfp would do a good enough job!

and dazmond why put a oil filled rad in your van then cover the tank with a duvet? sounds stupid!
Hes just trying to keep the frost of it im no expert but can see his reason.

Thanks it works really well, I can have over 180 degree of movement, so even if the van isn't pointing in the best direction it's still fine. Because it's low as well it doesn't cause any trip hazard, even when pulling. I was doing my back in at one point and thought, there must be an easier option. As far as I know I was the first to implement something along these lines. :)

On the grippatank website there is talk of a mira crash tested system coming soon
Wonder if it is the same as gardiners sold as they have some connection through the poles for gutter vacs????????
