Heard alot of bad story's about the transit lately,then again you hear a fair bit about vivaros... What sealed the deal for me is the fact all the AA vans nowadays are vicars so they can't be that bad...Pretty sure they've sorted out most the old problems with the vivarosPicked my 07 vivaro up last month.. Lovely to drive, and under 5k so nicely in your price range
the new transits dont have a good review,but as with all vans you buy you take your chance.bother in law worked as a manger for fords for 20years now runs his own garage doing fords,and his advice to me was dont touch the new trannys,get a older one if you can.and he knows his stuff
