Long Pole Rental
« on: September 30, 2011, 03:25:09 pm »
Hi All

I have  a one off requirement for a pole long enough to do 4 storeys, approx 45 ft... reckon I need it for just one day... real daft question but is there anywhere I can rent one as I don't fancy buying one just for this job????

I am Cheshire based...

Cheers

Matt

no one rents as prob too much risk and would imagine deposit would be equal to the value of the pole.

Not having a go (really) but if the deposit covered the pole cost, why would it be a problem?

Renter pays deposit equal to cost of pole plus rental, returns in good nick, gets deposit back, everyone happy.  Returns in bad nick and pays for the damage out of his deposit (as he should).  Everyone happy.

:)  yup thats wot i meant just badly written .... if anyone was to rent out poles then deposit would more than likely be the value of the pole .... maybe an extra profit line for someone here ??

would anyone pay £50 a day to rent say a supermax ?

Matt,

I'm in Macclesfield, have a old Brodex 40' you could borrow, It's heavy, long sections but usable.
