Need to replace my leisure battery this week.

What do the numbers mean 75ah 85ah 100ah etc etc ???

Also is the physical size different ???

Guessing summit to do with charge and how powerful it is ???

Local caravan shop can supply a 75ah @ £69 and 100ah @ £87

Think my system currently (no pun) has 85ah ... so will a 75ah be ok ? may go for 100ah but guessing physical size will be too big ???

the bigger the better. the more amps or AH the battery the longer it will last without a recharge.

i bought a 85ah calcium battery of ebay for £58 in january seems good so far.

ah means Amp Hours. So for example a 75ah battery will in theory power a pump drawing 7 amps for approximately 10.5 hours.
Thats only theory though because other people say you never achieve more than 3/4 of the stated amp hours of a battery and other variables.
So yes get the biggest battery is the best advice.
