A shock from the posty

Postman came this morning with along awaited cheque from last month..

Cleaned a small school local to me in the holidays it was the first time i have cleaned it and i quoted £450 for the job, i invoiced it for £450 about 5 weeks ago and received my cheque today for the mightly sum of £45   :o

i nearly choked on my toast!!!!

That's the first months instalment, they'll have cleared it by July 2012 ;0)

no  prices are crap for schools i used to clean them years ago when i was cards in, 45  pound sounds about right for a secondry school.

cos the tart writing out the cheque didnt realise that a windie was charging todays prices ,,,, she still thinks back when old Bob did em for a fiver and was grateful  :D

I've had it the other way around.  I received a cheque for an £11 job a couple of years back.  In addition to the £11er, there was a cheque for about £1,300.
Naturally I posted it back straight away with a covering letter.  Turned out that it was meant for the plumber  ;D
