Can someone explain the difference between an on demand and a bypass pump and whether they are both suitable for a portable ?
Cheers

Im lead to believe that a bypass pump recirculates the water when the trigger on the wand is closed or when the flow has stopped, i have a demand pump in my van which is a sureflo , this only starts pumping when it senses flow, the motor only works because its connected to a flow switch.
Hope this helps
