ive got a customer who is moaning about the edge of her window sill having the black dribble marks has if they have not been cleaned off now i have cleaned upvc frames 6mths ago with cleaner they have been ok im wfp so they always get a good do. am i right in thinking that it could be the seal perrishing leaching black residue idont whant to loose them as ido her daughters she is getting ichy feet, she has brown frames so i need to reasure them its not down to wfp i think thats what she was trying to imply in a round about way.any addvise the down stairs and other sills seem ok

only thing i can think of is the dirt between window sill and window getting flushed out (the gap between bottom of window and sill; expansion gap)

probably barking up wrong tree ???

good luck.

In my experience the only staining on UPVC that you cannot remove with WFP is the reminants of traditional cleaning where the sills have not been cleaned off properley and the soap/detergent has stained them. There is no logical explanation for WFP pole to stain the sills and not the rest of the frames. Infact to go further, i have cleaned several with staining on the concrete lintels and the marks on them are terrible, its almost exclusivley the result of soap suds loaded with dirt running and drying on them.
