How far will you travel for quotes?  I had a lady ring up from Whitchurch in hampshire asking me to go and see her for a quote trouble is it a 30 mile drive from Camberley. Good thing is that her Neighbour wants one as well, Unsure wheter to pass on to someone else

Your thoughts please

Cheers

Neil,

Depends on how busy you are, if there is a good chance of both jobs I think I might go along & quote, as long as the price is right, just add on a tenner for time & petrol and hope you get the work.

By the way I used to live near you in Frimley and went to France Hill School, I used to like the area, sometimes wish I still lived there!

Neil,

I do almost all of my quotes over the phone.

I would not travel 60 miles for a domestic quote, presumably it must come from a recommendation which should make it easy to book over the phone.

Cheers,

Doug

Hi Doug

Rang her back today and did quote over the phone, I was just open with her and told her it was a long way to go if I did not get the job, she was happy with this and I got the job over the phone. Neighbours house is the same and got £400 worth of work. Worth the travel I hope.

What starts well ends well.

Cheers

Neil
