I am getting a Escort van at the end of the week, any ideas on how big of a tank i can put in the back? I was thinking of 300 upright. Or would a flat tank more better?
Cheers

My window cleaner has a 75 non-turbo with a 500l flat. Just within weight limit though he rarely fills it up completely.

I must admit i loved that van, got me going in this business and did me proud for 4 years, check the battery tray isnt rusted, its very common and can be expensive to sort, it is an mot failure.

I had a 55 van ,an ex post offive escort on a 51 plate, had a 250 litre tank in it,struggles with that so would'nt go above 250,I found the upright tank was better as with the flat tank it had rocked the van when stopping at juntions as for rust there was'nt a problem,I still see the van now and again and is in very good nick,I find Fords newer vans rust like anything.
