The trouble with parallels and crossover is that you can't get a palm working with them, so George might work, I know it does with cross over but pocket George won't.  Trouble with web based solutions is that when you go out with your smartphone and want to update whilst on the road you are dependant on having a celular network.  Unless one of these cloud companies releases an app for the smart phones that will store info when it's off line the cloud based solutions just won't work.

Yep I agree - I think an online solution is best but must support the offline mode to handle cases where there is no signal.

The problem is that there are so many Palm / Pocket devices / Smart phones to support - has anyone got any idea what devices are most commonly used in the window cleaning trade?
