« on: July 04, 2011, 11:22:56 am »
I cleaned a carpet last monday, the usual aged cheap effort, end of tennancy special.it looked like it might ripple so I kept the moisture pretty low and had the fans on it.
Customer did hand over on the Wed and all was fine but today I get a call saying white lines have appeared!!!

I'm on my phone so can't check old posts to see if this has cropped up before but I can't for the life of me think what has happened

Any ideas???

What colour was the carpet?
Wool / Nylon / Polyprop etc?
What solutions did you use to clean it with ?

It was a brown pp mate, I used powerburst with an acid rinse. I did use som pog to remove some gum but other than that it was a standard clean.

Gonna take a look later this aft hopefully.

Can't work out why any marks would appear like 5 days after cleaning but apparently I was the last one in the property.

White lines too??

I was wondering that too.

BIIIIIIG BALLS!!!  :D :D

Got there and it was some kind of powder, nothing to do with me, ran vac over it for good will and it was gone.

I noticed there had been some damp on the walls that had gone so obviously someone had been back in doing painting and loads of filling, probably sanding round the windows.

Funny that because I was the last one in apparently  ??? ???

Been bricking them all day that I'd somehow f'd up, had to go to one side of town in rush hour to collect keys, to get to property on other side of town then drop keys off again!

just trying it on methinks, will phone the agent in the morning.

Cheers all
