Monster Portable Extractor
« on: June 20, 2011, 11:58:59 am »
Just surfing around and come across this electric portable, 4 vacs  :o, 500psi, auto fill/pump out, mega heater, looks the ultimate portable.
But the ultimate price as well. Might as well go with a truckmount.

For what you get £5500 sounds good.

Wouldn't work over here, needs 2 x 20 amp leads. Also has to run directly off a hose feed.

Hi Guys

I still think the best type of portable given all the power restrictions is 2 vacs, pump and a heater.

The one in the link looks so big it's borderline portable and if you are going van mounted then an engine just gives much more power.

Cheers

Doug

It has 4 x 2 stage vacuum motors (8 stages) The Airflex has 3 x 3 stage motors (9 stages).

Why would an equivalent 240v  machine not work over here .
At 120v the two/two stages on cord one draw approx 10amps each ..
At 240v their equivalent would draw approx half that ..

Have you never used two or three twinvac portys on the same job ....  not a problem ...

Auto defoamer is a good shout.
We need to build something like that into our Olympus 1200 for poolside work.
Save loads of time spraying the floor with defoamer.
