Just spent an amazing week in Ibiza,went to Pacha,and cafe Mambo,spent far far too much money,got back late last night.
Guess what ?


Half way through my first £106. lounge and stairs,pump starts acting erratically,one min it's pumping the next nothing,fine I thought,I will just bung the other spare one in that I have in the van,clever me I think,spent half hour putting it in,flipped the on switch,nowt,so grabbed it and gave it a little bang,huge blue flash,popped the fuse,so took it out again,put the one I took out back in,and completed my job,having to lift the machine and bang it down to get it to come back to life again,job took me 3 hours in the end,also had to postpone a com job I had booked this eve.
Got another one on order from W bridge,here tomorrow,well it better be I paid nearly £13 to get overnight del,don't have bookings tomorrow as it's a mates wedding....Back to normal by the look of things,bit gutted the one that was in it packed up,was from Olympic,dated 2009 but it had a new pump head on,which Woodbridge fitted not long back,think it's a false economy getting new heads put on as it's only lasted about 3 months....

Only the one cat now Clinton,who my sister looks after,bless him he has not stopped meowing since we got home,kept us both up all last night by doing paddy feet on us while we were trying to sleep..
Jim the Flojoe that was in it is over 18 months old,a record for me,the other pump was dated may 2009,so in reality not too bad for me.
Just upset that it was ok when I took it out,as it was a kinked pipe stopping it working,well so I thought,apparently not after this morning..

I've just come back from Ibiza mainly clubbing (the kids) we went to Kumhara's beach bar, nice view but bloody expensive £4 for a coke only had the one drink!!!

Got the feeling mine was a different holiday to yours

We paid 37 Euro each to get into Pacha,some places were selling tickets at 70 Euro a pop,then it was 12 Euro for beer or a small bottle of water !! Pacha has a 43 thousand watt sound system,was the best sound I have ever heard anywhere,crystal clear,big bass bins built in all around the perimeter,was standing in front of one and my trousers were flapping,semi naked girls dancing on podiums,very classy night,one of the best I have had,and I did it semi pro for nearly 15 years.
Also went to Cafe Mambo,to see the Swedish house Mafia play,another one of my all time best nights,the deal was you had to spend 100 Euro,to sit there and see them,got there 7 pm,started on champagne sangria,4 ltrs in total at 25 a litre ,got hammered,paid the bill and got 2 free glasses of champagne,then I tipped our amazing waiter 10 Euro,and he brought out 2 more,which I had to drink as the wife was past it.Needless to say I was a mess,climbed through mambo window to go to the toilet,cut my back up on the frame..
I was in charge of getting us home in a cab,he dropped us off about a mile from our villa,can't remember if I paid him,fell over trying to walk up the hill home,we were right out in the sticks up a mountain,no lights,got in trouble off the wife for being so hammered.Hung over all the next day..
I was out there in 1995,a year after Mambo opened,it was just a crappy wooden beach bar then,playing chill music,now it's awesome,really lavish,decent food,the best we had on the island,and we went to some very posh places..
Made me wanna dust my tunes off and get out there playing,far less pilled up people there now,did't see any twated people

Spent time on Cala bassa beach,and a few others,we hired a 125 moped,to get around on,I have issues with them,as I try and lean into the corners like a proper bike,which scared the wife

Ha ha,wife has just booked another week,beginning of Sept.

Good news is my pump just turned up,so back to full steam ahead,fax machine keeps churning out work orders,so hope that keeps up,will buy another pump in a month or so so I have a new spare,as I hate not being able to work

I was due to fly out to the Caribbean on Sunday but have cancelled it because someone called Charles just phoned up and needs an after party clean up....something to do with an OAP having a big bash or something.
