Keeping Equipment Safe During those Cold nights

Hello

Does anyone have any tips for keeping equipment safe from frost during those cold winter nights.

Neil,
I started CC last March and stupidly left equioment on board and suffered damage to two wands (when there was apparently only a ground frost)

When there is a frost warning I am removing

All wands including power brush
Extraction machine
Metal Sprayers
Hoses

When 3degrees C or lower I also unload

All plastic sprayers and spotters
All liquid products,

It is a pain but be also aware there can still be freezing temperatures during the day so it may be a case of take what you need for the day and unload into a more sheltered area.
I am sure I that I have forgotten something but no doubt others will advise

I have an Eberspacher diesel heater in my van. Just fire it up last thing at night and it will keep your van at a temp of your choice all night. Nice to get into it early in the morning aswell. Takes diesel from your vans fuel lines draws air in for combustion from under the van and exhausts under the van. a fan on the machine circulates the air in your van through the heater.

i use an eletric fan heater made for greenhouses think i got it from wydvales garden centre  cost about £15

I have an eberspacher, had for a few years, its the best way to go..

i  have a drive and so can use an oil filled portable radiator plugged into the garage

Use an electric heater, set on frost setting on an extension cable from garage. Also plugged into an RCD.

You forgot to add REMEMBER to unplug it before driving off in the morning!!!
