I think that is excellent , tells the story , maybe have your number constantly at the bottom of the screen in case the viewer gets bored , and introduce yourself ,speaking in the first person.

Not a bad video, has all the right ingredients,

perhaps your voice could be a bit more enthusiastic so you sound really convinced you give the best clean etc

The music is a bit annoying and was a bit too loud near the end of the clip, drowning out your voice a bit.

Ive yet to come across a customer that was that interested in the type of machine we use, more interested in the end result,  so think i would push that more and benefits of having regular carpet cleaning.

Maybe captions on the pictures as well as the voice over.

Regards
Steve

good constructive comments there steve and J

number on the bottom i like and yes, my voice needs more enthusiasm.

i do get regular comments on the "impressive" machine i use so will beg to differ on that comment ;)

When I had an Exel, the customer always made a positive comment, now I have an Alltec, I get the same comments...

Anything that isn't a Vax, impresses customers....

Where you say if we can clean carpets like this one, we can clean any carpet, why not make it personal

You have seen us clean this carpet, so imagine how clean we can make YOUR carpet....

or something along those lines

music was orible by the way.

It's not bad is it, well done.

Only thing I really picked up on was 'wick back', what is that? You've introduced a problem I know nothing about and didn't even know existed!! ( from a custies point of view).

I've noticed with all the videos I've made is you need to go over the top with the enthusiasm  if you talk & act normally you come across as a bit dull

you need to create excitement to grab the watcher attention

how about this video, I'm thinking of doing some thing similar

Derek,
It's not that I don't like videos, in fact we were using video marketing 20 years ago. We got a professional shot video with pro voice over that was aimed at the night club / pub market. (they were big back then) and it did well because it was aimed at that single market.
The problem with having a video on your website is that everyone thinks it is essential to show people how you're going to clean their carpet because they think that is what they want to see, which is true, but only to a point. Most videos I've seen show domestic carpet being cleaned, so what if your a commercial custome, or you're looking for your leather suite to be cleaned? To me, a good video shows the prospective customer all of the services you offer. I notice you do leather cleaning, hard floor cleaning, flood restoration, upholstery cleaning, but you only mention carpet cleaning.
If it is important to show potential carpet cleaning customers what they are going to get then why not potential upholstery, hard floor, flood restoration customers?
I'm no expert in these matters but doesn't it make sense to get as many people as possible interested in the full range of services you offer and have a video that achieves that?

You did ask.
