I am a Motor Dealer.

There is VAT on ALL second hand vehicles but it is charged on the dealers profit. The motor industry is unique in the VAT area.

Vans ar different but if the vehicle was bought with no VAT, the dealer can sell without adding VAT but will pay VAT on his profit.

So in short, Rob you are wrong.

Rob,

We posted at near identical times. I was just having a dig mate, your post wasn't there as I was typing.

No problem, i can give it and take it, and like a bit of a laugh on here, and dont take it too seriously, but not afraid to say when wrong, and without being big headed, are not wrong very often. lol
