Static system now up & running
« on: May 26, 2011, 02:12:30 pm »
Finally got my static system up and running after initial problems with low mains water pressure but bought a water booster pump which does the job fine. I live in a hard water area - Tap water 360+ ppm, comes out of the RO system at 008ppm. Thought I would post a picture of it.  :)

Richy, The booster pump has a 1" outlet so I got some high pressure hydraulic hose from a customer of mine free of charge, It's a bit overkill but seems to do the job ok.

That looks like a very tidy system.Where was it from?

Also how much waist water do you get for every litre of pure?

Thanks

Terry

Hi Terry, I bought it off the for sale section on this forum from Poleman but you can get them from gaps water treatment. I produce about 50% waste to 50% pure to prolong the life of the membranes. I bought the 1000 litre upright tank for £297.00 from Toucan supplies which was the cheapest I could find new.

What will it produce an hour?
