That must include insurance?
If it does, that doesnt sound too bad of a deal.

If you want a new van that sounds OK to me as depreciation would be 4K anyway I think??

While on Subject of Transits how much more expensive to run are they than an Escort Van?

Ie Diesel  Insurance etc as I do quite a lot of miles, I can manage with small vans but

Sounds a bit to much to me, Tim at vehicle options is worth a shout on 0808 160 8855 or 07980 833976, he can sort you out with a new van or car regardless of credit history etc at the best rates I've come across.

Forget it...

Go out and buy a van, pay out right if you can then you have no bills to worry about during the year, otherwise its another bill thats got to be accounteed for each month........

I went to an acution and bought a van, 12 months tax, paid out right for insurance know all I have to be concerded about is paying the morgtage.

Seems a lot to me

Just buy Autotrader and look in in there

If buying a transit bear in mind that this model will be replaced in the next 12 months with a brand new model with a very advanced new diesiel engine which will badly hit values of what will then be "old" models.

Regards Michel

I just looked at leasing prices over 5 years and a transit could cost you £375  a month plus VAT and you woukl have to pay insurance etc etc etc etc and Repairs
as it becomes worthless.
Or £25.47 per thousand plus VAT

Over two years £750 plus VAT.
or £51.47 per thousand  plus VAT

Personally I would do as Chris has suggested get one with low mileage

I have a cracking little van at mo, the old faithful VW Transporter its an old J reg, but the new shape 253K on the the clock and runs like clockwork, But for a second vehicle I want something a bit bigger and smarter and I thought that leasing may be the answer.
