Has anyone come across this new beast of a Carpet Cleaning machine yet.

Said to be the most powerful ever built.

Is Ed selling them direct  What is shipping cost?

Only has two motors ?

Does Ed stand by nearly 90% water recovery

Funny how for years Scorpions have been sold on the understanding that water lift
is un-important, only CFMs matter.
Now there's a machine with decent water lift it now suddenly counts.

And what are these (Twin Ultra-Tech Wind Tunnel Vac Motors ). Surely they must
be in series to claim so much water lift. Thats over 19" Hg, blows most truck mounts
on suction.

could be wrong but those figures are perhaps accurate for either parallel or series ... but not both that high in the one configuration

I don't understand the sublties of machines.

I thought this thread was about a big cat that wasn't in a very good mood. ;)

With apologies I'm off to bed.

Cross American Jaguar?

Jaguar implies something really special, omnipitant or above the rest.

Even the vac motors have been elevateted to the realm of something wonderous and that us mere mortals should be in awe of.

A bit like owning Eurofighter Typhoon but shaped like a plastic box. ;D

My goodness, you have to have a larf...it's just another carpet cleaning machine ::)

Been looking at the Shazaam: Goliath Quad Vac - 4/2Vacs - 500 psi recently.
Nice machine but think the Jag looks little bit better spec wise, also I prefer the name 8) what i find interesting is that the jag says it has 298 cfm and the Shazaam Goliath says 200 cfm, the jag says 263 water lift whereas the Shazaam Goliath 170 water lift, yet the Shazaam Goliath claims this machine offers the ability to clean 200 ft from the machine with full productivity whereas the jag with apparent better spec suction wise, says you can clean at 100',....and beyond (150') even without our exclusive Power Booster System capable of cleaning even further with ease. Someones telling porkies!!
Must admit though I do like both machines but there is a big difference in price probably cos one is 120 volts whereas the other is 220-240 volts.
Dont quite know if the jag is autofill though, because I think what they are saying with the Goliath is that because you have constant feed of pressure to the pump maintains more pressure, never knew that.

Hi Guys

I think this is a good example of BS baffling science.

Anyone who uses portables and TM's knows the TM is far more powerful because they see it with their own eyes.

The idea that you can call a portable in a van a TM is just marketing bull.

Cheers

Doug

The auto feed defoamer system is something I never saw before Bren, brilliant idea. However ,I wonder what kind of after sales back up you would get over here with those machines.

Hi Fintan, that is a good idea alright, nice machine overall, but I'd say you would have to forget about backup, cost a fortune to ship anything from here that's heavier than a stamp!!
I think you would just have to take a punt on it and hope there built as well as they say they are.
