Thinking of buying one of these... are they any good? also do you simply add your pre spay liquid neat into the injectors tank or do you dilute first? im looking at one at the moment which has a dilution dial built in.

But do you dilute and then add to the tank or do you add the undiluted liquid and then let the unit do the diluting?

You need to use an injection sprayer in conjunction with a reasonably powerful pump.  If you've got anything less than 250psi and flow rate of less than 3 gpm forget it, the sprayer simply won't work properly.  Basically if you have a portable it won't work unless you have one with a very powerful pump.  They are a truckmount accessory.

Also forget the adjustable dial type ones, they are not accurate in the slightest so you don't have a clue what you're putting down.  The fixed ratio ones are the only viable option, they are normally about 1:8 dilution so you just mix up your stock solution in the container 8 times stronger than normal.

I have 2 hydroforce sprayers, 1 is
a low pressure, the other is high pressure,
the lower pressure one worked ok with my Recoil 300 psi,
even on a lower pressure

High pressure 1 is used with my tm

I only tend to use the hydraforce on large commercial jobs. and a pump sprayer in domestic propertys. Every body finds there own way.

I have one for sale together with a 2nd container.
It has variable flow rate as well - from 1:8 thro to 1:32 (I think)
Working well but think it is one that needs to be above 250psi to work (I used it with my truckmount and now with my 500psi Scorpion).

We recently got one of these 18 litre battery sprayers and think they are brilliant. We found that pre-spray can be applied more concentrated than applying through the Hydroforce which produces an even better result.
It also saves a lot of fuel as you can pre-spray, agitate and dwell while the TM is warming up on first job and only need to start it when ready to extract on second job. Also there is no need to stop to apply pre-spray on large jobs, which cuts down on the overall job time saving both labour and fuel.
Brilliant piece of kit.

seals, i wonder if it would be ok to use chemicals in it?

If you want a lance with it you have to tell them when ordering. Beware though because the jet assemblies are very flimsy.
The battery lasts for ever, or seems to.
