Hi justin.
to be absolutly honest I have recovered cills a lot worse then those with the cream cleaner.
looks like the brush stock has draged across them as they are realy parralel. if it had been some big dirt i would have expected them to be all over the place.
yet they could also be draw marks from when the cills are made and extruded through the die, over time (not long) they become prominent as they trap dirt. you get a lot of this with cheap crapy upvc.
but honest I would give them the cream and a polish with some stockinet or microfibre after then just apolojise to cousty and explane you have looked into what might have happened and rest asured you will do everything in your power to avoid this incident happening again.
good old saying " bullpoop baffles brains"
as for the jets everyone seems to have this fan or jet? 1mm or 2mm sort of thinking. so past few weeks been playing (as i do ) i now have a brush with 6 times the rinsing power of a brush with 1 mm jets and uses less water than a brush with 2 mm jets yet still only has two jets fitted
but if im to get into this im going to have to start a new thred and look into how to put pics up on here
Hiya chris mate

Makes total sense what you are saying mate.....iv read with great intrest...we have only cleaned this house a few times man......
Could be like you say,the die waring thin etc....
You know what your talking about chris mate as i will explain what window company says on bottom of post bud....
Thank you for ya time chris mate

& when iv sorted this problem,im a bit intrested in all them jets ya got for a good rinse man

Hiya ste mate

That does sound a bit iffy man...carnt belive some people tyr to have the window cleaner over bud

I mean its not like most ov us drive brand new cars & make thousands a week man

Not sure bout a stone etc....it seems strange ste....when i checked 1 window on the side top (small frosted glass window) that never had a mark on....HMMM!!!!
thank you for ya post bud

My brush head seams okay man....might b a couple ov sharp bits ere n there, but i wouldnt ov thought it be enough to cause damage mate
I can't be the only one who is dying to know what this means?
Hiya mike......it means,my brush head (stock) whatever ya want to call it,is hard plastic, now when ya scrape it along brickwork,by mistake,it can cause a couple of pointed, well a not so smooth surface.....hence,i thought that could ov scrached sills.....
Know what i mean now bud ??

Hiya andy mate

Justin.
Although the pictures aren't brilliant I don't think a brush could have done that. The scratches look too straight and parallel. As the brush was moved left to right the pressure would have altered yet the scratch looks consistent. I think the scratches were in the cill to start with . Don't forget this stuff starts life in 6m lengths and is dragged around everywhere. The fitters would have noticed it when the plastic came off at the end of fitting and cleaned the scratches with all sorts. As soon as you brought dirt down off the window it sat in the groove. The customer then thinks you did it.
Andy
I think your right what you are saying, but its convincing customer that mate....i do appreciate your post man......& these scraches are looking more like someone eleses fault the more posts i read

Thank you mate

Thanks david mate

Read ya post bud......and its starting to look like someone done them not us....

Hiya luther

Am i missing something or isn't it the black plastic from the brush stock leaving a mark on the sill,as opposed to scratching it? A bit like running a crayon along it.
Yeah...iv scrached my own sills man & its just like a crayon....black lines what would rub off with a solution.....not deep scraches like in customers...

Hiya brian...
Thanks for that mate....
I use to use viking man, with the rubber edge, but went to brodex for the alloy poles as fibreglass were only lasting couple months......
Thats a option tho bud

Hiya kentkleen

Yeah some ov them are black lines what would come off,but theres some deepish scraches man.....
Im not sure A solvent will remove it man...hope so

Hiya mark

Yeah mate...its black, but some of the scraches are deepish man....
im starting to think.......my brush would not scrach the sills only mark them with black lines etc......

Thank you mate.....
Right guy's....big"
THANK YOU" for all your posts & taking the time out to try and help me out.....
Realy appreciate it fella's.......
YA ALL SOUND

Well i phoned customer yesterday evening to see if window company had called....
He thanked me for phoneing him to see if all was well

He told me that they had been....and they had gave him a solution to try & clean the sills up,they also told customer it looks like muck has caused the scraches, not our brush, but
maybee our brush was causing it......so custy said if scraches dont come out,it will be a case of new sills.....

customer told me that he gunna give it a clean with chemical from window fitter, have a word with his wife to see what they are going to do....he was talking a lot better than yesterday.....so i need to speak to company to find out exactley what was said,as this customer has not phoned me back yet......hope its good news

I will Keep ya all informed on what is happening & thank you all so much for your time
YA ALL SOUND

Take care & kindest regards
Justin
