do most people have the single trim mono? im thinking of getting one and treating myself to a carbon gooseneck. also if you wanted to, is there a way of using normal superlites with the carbon goosenecks?

There is only one trim & filament variant with the Xtreme- single trim mono.

I've got two & the carbon neck (which weighs less than a plastic angle adaptor!) both are superb, although you'll need a quick release end on your pole to use the goosneck. I use the neck when required but use the brush all the time with a plastic angle adaptor.

i think they have changed the colour of the brush bristles from white to black looking at the website

thats why i asked, traditionally gardeners mono are white and the pic is black. im not really a fan of flocked brushes other than for washing the van.

used my extreme today
and all i can say is it made my
s l dual flock feel like a brick
buy it now its amazing infact its the dogs

They have changed the colour to black but they are still mono bristles.

It depends what you want in a brush, some people (unbelievably) still use a vikan sill brush!!

The Xtreme might not be as good as some on say- first cleans if they're really grubby & you do all the frames etc, but IMO having used many, many different brushes it's the business & I think it's definitely the way forward for regular wfp work! Like Gav just found out, they make even a normal SL feel like a brick!

pencil jets are fitted but sure
they could be changed easy enuf
honestly this brush will blow you away

i have fan jets fitted in mine, but they do take out a couple of bunches of bristles.

I have noticed with my brush that it malts quite alot and the bristles are starting to get split ends, ive only been using it a week

it took twice as long to clean a window than my aerial brush
extreme brush isnt in the aerial brushes class

I've been using one since the start of January. No malting of mine has occurred & it's still all intact & formed correctly. This brush has transformed my work & has cut loads of time off my work. Just last week I did a huge private school, last year it took 4 days (it has outbuildings too) this time it took 2.5 days. The only difference is the Xtreme brush!

All my work, both commercial & domestic I can do easier & faster with the Xtreme brush!

The Aeriel is a brick in comparison!

The aerial brush is made better than the xtreme, but the xtreme cleans just as well as the aerial brush, but is so much lighter, that is why i changed from the aerial to xtreme.

I dont know what you were doing with the brush for it not to clean the window properly, did you have the brush the right way around? or is it that you just like to slate gardiners brushes because you have a vested interest in aerial brushes?

Your negativity towards gardiners brushes isnt doing the aerial brush any favors because you are completely biased, but in reality the aerial brush is a very good brush, better than the SL DT mono, im sure more on here would have bought one if you didnt keep banging on how good they are and how rubbish gardiners brushes are, its getting a bit boring now.

I have used the extreme brush and i found it great from the lightweight point of view, however i can see where alex is coming from about the lack of bristle scrubbing power  (its a bit like cleaning windows with a toothbrush). I personally think the normal sl mono is a better brush all over and still reasonably light. I mean how light do you lot want a brush to be?? its light enough!
 I am thinking of trying the aerial next . . . is it worth getting or should i stick to my sl.

deffo the xtreme, the bristles on the SL mono are way too stiff, the aerial brush is better than the sl mono
