New chemical supplier
« on: September 28, 2005, 06:51:27 pm »
Over the past few months i have used numerous chemical suppliers for various chemicals, such as brick acids, sandstone cleaners and paint removers.
But a friend of mine recommended a firm called chemicals ltd who are based just up the road in Southport.
I rang this firm and they was so helpful, I ordered a consignment of chemicals from them and they are going to bring them to my door along with some free samples of other chemicals.
The guy has even offered to come to the job that I am starting on friday and he is going to advise me on their applications etc.
Now that is what i call service.
For those of you in the same line of work as I, check out their website.
http://www.paramose.com/index.htm
they do chemicals for graffiti etc.
The guy who recommended them to me does a lot of hot dip and chemical paint stripping and he says these are highly recommended.

What are their prices like per 25ltr, some quotes for graffiti removal products have been way over the top and I am finding half of them are not very affective
have you tried it yet any feedback would be very welcome cheers

Prices are given when you ring up and these vary upon quantity.
I have not tried them yet, but will be doing on Friday afternoon.
I will keep you posted and let you know the outcome.
The friend who recommended them to me has been trading with them for years and has nothing but praise for them.
They have even developed chemicals for him for certain situations.
But as far as I'm concerned they are making the right noises so to speak.
It will be nice to talk to a person on site and get all questions answered.

Totally over the moon with the new supplier.
The guy came out to the job I was due to start gave me a demo on how to apply the chemical.
Told me he would have any order to my door with 24 hours.
He also told me that if I needed any advice on anything chemical related he would be only to happy to help.
I have dealt with three previous companies and never have they offered this sort of service.
The paint removal chemical did exactly what he said it would do and once water is put on it its totally harmeless.

Hi Gary,

I will also give them a go, it will save me time experimenting with various other firms I have come across.

Did a job on saturday with this chemical, fully stripped a terraced house of paint in four hours, the customer was pleased and so was I.
Got another 2 jobs out of it, so that was a good do. ;D

Hi Gary,
gave them a ring today and found them very helpfull on the phone prices not to bad but could have been better, main problem for me would be the transport costs as I am not in your neck of the woods they did supply a telephone number for a supplier in Glasgow, gave them a ring but got no joy, see what happens when you live in Scotland all the best

That was like the problems I was having as my previous suppliers were 180 miles away, they said 48 hours delivery but it was more like 4 days.
I'm getting another delivery in three weeks time for a big job and I'll try and pick his brains for you.
I wouldnt say they are really cheap because they are not, but on the other hand they are not dearest I have come across.
But the stuff is great.
Fingers crossed, we can get something sorted out for you.
