I won a ninja squeegee recently and did a little review of it on another forum.

The ninja is a new design with some pretty neat ideas. The handle is made of black plastic with grey rubber grip. The screw is adjustable with a coin and allows the head to swivel.

The channel is a sturdy aluminium version that seems pretty substantial, but is not heavy. It takes standard rubber (unlike the sorbo, for example) and has two slots. The rubber can be used in whichever slot you choose and is clamped by two clips at each end of the channel. These clips are a great idea. There is a little sliding cover on them which locks or unlocks the clip. They really hold the rubber and it only takes a couple of seconds to change the rubber when it wears out.

It seems a well balanced squeegee to use and not as heavy as I thought it might be. I have a 14 inch version and the rubber supplied overhung the channel by about 1/4 inch. I found that detailing was increased using it like this by quite a large amount. Cutting the rubber down to the same length of the channel helped and then I cut the corner off the rubber at about 45 degrees and it cut down the detailing even more on most windows.

Seemed to work well on a pole, even with old rubber in it.

I like the ninja and will continue to use it. The only bugbear at the moment is that it doesn't fit in my boab squeegee slot, so is living with my applicator. This is ok until both tools get pulled out at the same time and one goes crashing to the floor... I believe that unger will release a new boab soon to cater for this squeegee, but a bit of a pain until then.

I'll give it 8/10 at the moment.

Hi,

What bucket on a belt do you use?   I use Ettore so I presume I would have to buy an Unger. That's £10.00+ on top of Squeegee making it expensive.

Hi Kevin. I use the Unger Classic. I don't think it matters which bucket you use - none will accommodate the ninja. Yes, it would make it expensive to buy. Maybe better to just buy when you are going to replace kit anyway?

why on earth would any of you buy this new "ninja" squeegee?it doesnt fit in a boab?its laughable!!!

DONT FALL FOR THE HYPE!!!

i use the unger ergotech and unger swivelock squeegees.they are fantastic and nice and light and smooth to use.

no need for any other squeegees!!

waste of money and a total unnecessary piece of equipment when they already make other fantastic squeegees! ;D ;D ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!

Every manufacturer updates their range of products over time. Perhaps squeegees as we know them now might be obsolete in 10 years.

I use the unger swivel squeegees too, but I also think the ninja is good.

SF does the ninja fit in the first unger boab on this page?

Good stuff. So, it looks like it will fit some boabs then.
