To save you a few bob Westpack wand valve

If you have a Westpack wand with the soft touch valve, you will probably find that after a while the spring will break and then you will have to buy the repair kit...probably about £10 inc delivery.

You can buy the stainless springs on their own for £2.50 a piece....min charge £15 per order = 6 springs = 10 years use.

Common sense to just buy the springs to keep on the van and when the spring breaks and water is p*ssing all over custys house you have a replacement. ;D

Part no: D21680 from Springmasters. 12mm long x 6mm wide x 1mm wire dia

I find its usually the o rings that deteriorate before any spring damage.

good point. I have a packet of 'O' rings that suit all vaves from Prochem that I bought years ago. They probably still supply them as a seperate piece but no others will supply them....they just want to supply the full valve.

It seems no supplier will give you just the 'O' ring or spring.

I'v had the Westpack wand for 18 months and gone through 3 springs and one 'O' ring.
When the spring goes in the middle of a job, your pretty well f***ed without a spare

Good tip . I'll give another one - take the westpac valve off chuck it in the bin and fit a kingston valve instead , far better! The spring went in both my 2 jet and 4 jet in a very short time so I dont rate them at all.
