No you didn't did you. ::)
Very nice car!!! Anyone want an unwanted R8?? I'm selling it for my mate but I like mugs to think it's mine
Bought for 96k 2 years ago. I want you mugs to think that I could spend that much on a car becuase I have  small todger
£29,000 ovno I want you mugs to believe I could write that much cash off because I'm a big number in window polishing
Its been a hard year  :-[ I expect you mugs to think that I turn over so much cash each year that I have to sell one of my cars and I crave recognition.

The funny bit is, you trying to identify yourself as successfull like Lee or the other big players.  ;D ;D ;D

I so want too say something inresponse too a few posts but I dont want too blow the lid on the ins and out of Lees idear but a lot of you are  not going in the right direction of what hes doing, Lee is a nice bloke and he will not be the only one benefitting from this idear, every party will gain out of it,

He's told us what he's doing, a radio campaign,in just one county to start and vetted w'cers who'll pay for the work this produces. The initial face to face meeting was on saturday in a pub near where he lives. He hoped that 25 firms would attend in vans and uniforms. I can't understand how he expected these people to make the effort of vans and uniforms when he couldn't be bothered to manage a proper photo shoot.

His reply to my earlier comments was that the marketing had been taken care, and he didn't need shots of the team. but if that was the case why couldn't the guys come in normal clothes and vehicles?

Anyway in the photo we've been shown they weren't all in uniform, one was in a suit.In the background there are seven vans, one of them lee's, so it looks like six turned up.

It may seem, from comments by other posters on this thread, that i am livid with jealousy about the project and the car. What interests me is ideas and their execution.

If thats how i am coming across I am sorry for that cozy.
I have just read some of your old posts/comments this may shock you.
I agree with alot of what you say.
I mentioned my mates car to lighten the mood of the Project x post as cars where starting to get mentioned .
I think the ladder monkey comment is the root of our problem.
I  apologise for that.
Been on the ladders all morning on builders cleans and have no problem with trad cleaners.
We are all window cleaners at the end of the day, up ladders or swinging poles around, I have had a good year and hope this coming one can produce the same results.
p.s ITV2 must be bad you where soon back on here! ;)

You'd know.  You do it every time you have a hissy fit.

I didn't count but I would guess that there were 15 there.
Not everyone was in the picture.
I had some pre-scheduled work that morning so couldn't arrive until 1 - after the photo shoot had happened.  I think others arrived after it - but before me.  I also had to go at 2 because I was taking someone to the footie.  I would like to have been there a lot longer but there was a lot of other stuff I had to do.
No, I'm not going to spill the beans either.  It's Lee's story to tell if and when he wishes to.
We bump into each other a fair bit and I first became aware that he was planning something some time ago.  I did promise not to say anything on here and that's how it stays.
I'm sure things will become clearer soon enough.

You know Mister (whoever you are hiding behind your alias), I dont have to attend every time Im invited to an arguement.  You can say what you want about me but I will simply be ignoring your childish comments from now on. You carry on mate.

I hope so, I'm quite intrigued to hear what this is about.  I think for Lee to even have gotten about 15 window cleaners together is quite an achievement in itself.

We know that.  You normally avoid the argument by throwing your toys out of the pram, deleting your account and running away, then slinking back a couple of months later under a new username.

Dave, your sign up date is 5th Feb, which is after Matt did his last disappearing act.  So how do you know all this?  You must've been a member under a different alias prior, or you're someone with a grudge whose hiding behind this name (which is what I suspect the case is) .

At least Matt is honest and says who he is; he's human like the rest of us; but I also suspect you're an underhanded Troll, just looking to try and annoy those you hold a grudge against.

You're not bad at it too!  ;D

But really, we're spoiling Lee's post here, and it seems he's putting a lot of effort into something, so maybe it's better if we keep our childish arguments out of this post; we've a great off-topic site that's good for a heated discussion; maybe you could try there?

Fair point, I'll make this my last word so prevent total hijack.

The first thing I did after signing up was to read through hundreds, probably thousands of back posts so that I could see what was going on and not ask the questions everyone else had asked.

A few things came out.  I read every one of Ian Lancaster's posts and many of Lee's, as they both seemed to be building businesses rather than cleaning windows, which is what I've tried to do.  That was also when I kept coming across Matt/Rise/HS&Son and realised that many of his posts were pointless and that he had a habit of huffing off.  I also read a number of yours and realised that your philosophical outlook is not a million miles from mine.

So, my knowledge might appear to predate my signing up, but for a reason.

Cheers, Dave!

But we're getting a bit bored of the regular company in the off-topic area, so if anyone fancies a fight over there, you'll find there's a few of us ready and waiting for a good argument.  ;D

The normal topics are football, religion (for and against), philosophy, physical or mental illnesses, cars, motorbikes, DIY, moaning about our partners and lots lots more interesting stuff.

Maybe a mod could delete the irrelevant posts?

sorry for the late reply ive had some computer problems.

My god! I love all the speculation and guessing games. You have to admit its alot of fun really. knowone is close at this time.

Its true there were about 15 there out of 25. but when someone says its my weekend to have the kidds the only answer I could give was fair enough. every company that couldnt come is arranging to see me at another time.

The point of the meeting was to run through the project. I asked people to come in vans and uniform as a bit of fun really. Everyone had a good time looking at the different kits and poles.

Look guys, dispite all the negative posts and so on, what im trying to do will benefit us all and our little industry if it works out. If it doesnt only I will have lost money and time, please believe me when I say I have worked very hard for months and spent alot of money.
The best way to predict the future is to create it.
