Window cleaning will soon be like playing golf. Turn up to the job, scratch head and pull out the right pole(club) for the job.

These poles are deffinatly a good investment.

it will kick the extel into the stone age. It looks like a lot of money, but boy is it worth it.

You can't use the SLX 35 as an everyday pole IMO, unless you plan to split it to something more usable. (Unfortunately, you will have pole hose issues doing this). I have a CLX22 which I use as my everyday pole and have an SLX 40 for those odd jobs. I found the SLX 35 that I first had, although fine for most of the Victorian Terraces we have in Saltburn by the Sea, didn't reach them all - I needed that extra bit for a couple of odd ones.

The other option is not to take on work that needs that extra bit - maybe canvass for more work in a different area where the houses are more modern and you don't need the extra reach. TBH, my 40' pole is very under utilised.

i know i cant use it for everyday its to replace my 31 foot extel, did you get a 40 foot slx i thought the biggest was 35?

Wait for the new pole to come out I won't buy a slx Now the carbon has changed iv still got the mark 1 slx 25 that's a good pole but changed carbon iv got every pole and the new one Alex has made looks even better than the mk 1
