Would the 75hp be ok, or would it be a bit of a slug with 650l tank in?

you will get some on here (slash) will say no, but i have a 650L tank in my 230 connect, the payload is 900kg.

although ST1allstar is getting a little irate I have to say I would agree with him.
Don't forget the weight of your leisure battery and the fact that any di vessels and hose reels will be full of water plus any angle iron used to brace the chassis for your mountings if used, plus your bulkhead. Maybe a towbar? Ladders and roofracks will add a fair bit of weight too.  
Single operator maybe but not two.

You have to make allowances for ST1Allstar, he has certain "issues" that make him a bit touchy. Provided he takes the medication he's OK. Maybe he will reincarnate himself again like Dr Who.
