They are doing a 35ft carbon pole for £219 plus VAT and carriage.
Sounds too good to be true, anybody seen one of these are they telescopic or modular? At that price I'm tempted.

Just had a look it's telescopic.

Hello guy's,

I placed my first order with Brodex on Sunday, I took advantage of their earlier pole & brush head offers.
I got their text message this morning and quite fancied a longer one :o
I also talked them into sending it with the order I placed on Sunday, so no extra carriage to pay ;)

I'm just getting back into window cleaning after a short break of 12 years :o
Things have changed, i'm sure we will be talking more............

the collapsed length isn't very user friendly at over 7 ft !

Funny you should say that........when I asked them when it would be delivered (together with my previous order) they replied 'within 7 days of your initial order date' ???
I take it these suppliers have a bit of a reputation then?

Just had a phone call from Pure Freedom confirming that my order with them was on a pallet and will be delivered tomorrow. See BMS, it's not hard to get it right! ::)

Apparently, the shorter length poles are Glass Fibre & longer ones in the same range are Carbon Fibre ???

hi i have one .not very light but rigid.mine is 31ft actual length  so this one might me the same ,because they usually advertise the length you can reach not the collapsed one.i think i paid the same about a year ago.much better than my fibre glass xtel

Dai

I got the text as well.I use brodex poles and get on well with them
the clamps can be a problem, but the the replacement ones they
sent have been fine with no problems 6 months later.
I bought the 36ft alloy,3weeks ago for a stupid price of 128 quid.
It can be a bit of a beast to control and is heavy, but it does the job for 3rd/4th storey work. The carbon fibre pole would definitely be a good buy at that price.

True enough :)

Looking at gardiners there pole of same height is 33% lighter, but i suppose it is nearly double the price
Might give brodex a go, got a hydra at the moment and although not the lightest , or most rigid, it is bomb proof and a very reliable pole

Well I ordered and paid for it, but so far have heard nothing. They promised to send an email order confirmation but haven't. Did any of you who bought one get this email?

Hello Dai,
The order I placed online on Sunday for the 'Special Offer' Pole Set & Brush Head Set, yes I did get an email order confirmation.
I got the text on Monday for this pole offer, I rang them and asked them to add it to the online order I placed on Sunday.
The second order (for the pole) arrived today, but the online order placed on Sunday i'm still waiting for ???
