Van Insurance
« on: February 15, 2011, 08:53:13 am »
Im getting an oldish transit in a few weeks, my step dad has upgraded his and so is giving me this one for nothing really, only trouble is cheapest quote i can get is 2500 3rd party

Im 23 with 3 points on my license , and wont have any no claims for the vehicle as they are on my car...

Any ideas who might be cheaper to go with, otherwise i might have to not bother :(

Just renewed my van insurance with commercial vehicle direct which seemed to be the cheapest, it has breakdown cover included as well, I did consider having my son insured on it but it went through the roof as he's only 22, and that's going to be your problem as well, some insurers will take no claims on a car into consideration though.

insurance is so expensive nowadays - you can see why some dont bother, however if you try stephen ayre at G.T.Insurance, he is very helpful, he will be able to insure you, his  number is 0115 9394747, been in insurance a long time, we have started going to him now as helpful and competetive, all our vans are with steve and will be loking to go over to steve for public liability & employers liabillity when ours is due, i think some insurance companies will let you use no claims on 2 vehicles (may be wrong on this though) hope this helps.
