fascias prices?
« on: February 12, 2011, 08:28:35 am »
I have been working as a window cleaner on and off for a while now but I have just recently got my own run. I really enjoy workin for myself but it is taking a bit gettin used to like pricing jobs and that. Yesterday when I was packing up for the day a customer asked if I could clean his fascias for him. I told him that i would be back on Monday and I would see about getting it done for him but I have never done them before so i don't know what to charge for it. It is quite a big house and I charge £10 for doing the windows but as I said I have no idea what price to charge for the fascias. Could anyone give me a rough idea please.

I dont go on metre length. Just take a look round and if working off ladder take into account pitching and where top of ladder is going to be placed. Are you going to use a fend off? Then estimate your time for cleaning and the hourly rate you work to.
Same if wfp, just use some tfr or similar before you start cleaning.
