Thats in lab conditions which won't be replicated for use in window cleaning, I find it's just sales pitch cr ap. lol
I am 99% sure if you accumilate waste and pure it will be the amount of your RO, i.e. 450GPD = 1710litrs

RoMan use the word "Permeate" which means to "filter through" which they quote as 150gpd for their 150pgd membrane

Hi, erith, I've been setting my pure freedom diy unit up this week and I had a similar problem, my ppm before R O is 450, after the RO it's 30, and after the DI it was 7 ( brand new system) . On the advice of justin from clean-n-clear I changed the resin which was supplied as he said it may be duff ( which it was) I'm now producing 000pm with new resin. Hope this helps

I was under the impression permeate means to pass through.

per·me·ate/ˈpərmēˌāt/
Verb: Spread throughout (something)

With this in mind the pure and waste pass through the housing of the RO.
Waste exits one outlet and pure exits through another outlet, but both pass through the RO housing.
