1hr 30 to 1hr 45 Shaun

Was once told to "stop A to Zedding" with my CCing as I was the over caring perfectionist -  and he was probs right when it comes down to the raw wage - however sometimes it is good and necessary to go back and slow down and really dig those skirting boards out!! depends how busy you are and how much you want to impress....

Speed is down to polished efficiency which comes with experience in the feild anything else is probs just p1ss takin grabbin the moolar!

Take as long as it takes for a proper result - rough with the smooth ALWAYS applies if you are really in it for the long term

lounge/diner HSL?
how long

ive done em in under an hour and ive done em in 2hrs plus, depends on a lot of things really.

ive had bedrooms that i can clean in 10 mins and others that take over an hour.

i think if it takes you a set time to do xyz rooms everytime then your not doing your job properly cos every rooms different,

for instance lets say 20 sq meters of carpet, i can prespray it the same speed and i can aggitate the same speed and i can wand the same speed, but most of the time, it dunt all come out, so you either say "all right darlin, them spots aint garn no where luv" or you stop at all the stains and spots and treat accordingly, which in turn is the time extender.

ohhhh shut up derek your yakkin on again. ;D

sorry guys i'm sleep analysing again. ;D

How long does it take everyone to clean (on average) a Lounge diner, hall stairs landing? shall we say a 3 bed semi sized house.

If I were taking this type of job on via a phonecall, (which I don't like doing because I like to be prepared for what's ahead), then I would say 1.5 to 2 hours.
That being from arriving on the driveway to leaving again.

Paul you need to take loads of time until you get the job right there's no time scale at first.

Derek I did mention averages but it wouldn't be you to give a straight forward answer ;D but I do see your point specially if there's black edges.

A high quality result, and a satisfied customer, is like money in the bank. Some jobs just do take ages. Unless you're getting late for the next job, why worry?

I carry a tray with my 4 or 5 most commonly used spotters, various types of coaster, scissors, bolster, host joiner (the best spot agitator ever made) and a couple of brushes. I always put the item back in the tray (when I remenber, anyway). Try & think about the next thing you'll need if you have to make a trip to the van.

If you're running a porty save yourself all the bucketing by getting a hose on the hot tap.

After 17 years, and now running a TM, I still reckon 3 to 3.5 hrs for 3 pce suite. Some may be a lot less, and a few a bit more, but when planning my diary - 3.5.

Draft marks - well agitated splitter used after first go at extraction, especially around skirtings, brushed in with grooming brush.

These days I do have a target hourly rate in mind, but some jobs work out half target, and some nicely over.

Looks like you did a nice job.

Thats what i thought too Mark but how would you agitate with that?

I use a blunt fish knife and/or small spotting brush.
